Brady Haynes, D.H.A, M.B.A

Chief Operating Officer, Seneca Health

Brady Haynes, DHA, MBA, serves as Chief Operating Officer of Seneca Healthcare District (Seneca Hospital) in Chester, California, where he helps lead hospital and clinic operations serving the Lake Almanor Basin and surrounding rural North State communities. He has been named Seneca’s incoming Chief Executive Officer, with a planned leadership transition on December 1, 2026.

Dr. Haynes brings more than 30 years of experience in rural healthcare as a healthcare executive, consultant, entrepreneur, and educator. He began his career in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman, an experience that shaped his patient-centered and operations-driven leadership approach. He holds a Master of Business Administration with a healthcare emphasis and a Doctor of Health Administration, blending clinical insight with systems-level execution.

Prior to joining Seneca, Dr. Haynes served in senior leadership roles at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Physician Enterprise. His work focused on physician alignment, service-line development, strategic planning, and operational transformation across complex healthcare systems.

At Seneca, Dr. Haynes has advanced access and reliability of care across a geographically isolated region. His leadership has supported expanded specialty services, restored weekly mobile MRI access through a five-hospital regional collaboration, and strengthened emergency and EMS readiness across the basin. He is also part of the executive team delivering a replacement rural hospital, Lake Almanor Community Hospital, scheduled to open in 2027, designed to support modern care delivery and long-term community sustainability.

As a member of the Emundi Foundation’s Board of Advisors, Dr. Haynes contributes a pragmatic rural-health perspective to the development of a new medical school serving California’s North State. He supports the mentorship and development of future physicians and healthcare leaders by aligning medical education with real-world rural practice, operational excellence, and community accountability. His advisory work emphasizes sustainable training pipelines, modern clinical operations, and community-responsive care models.
