Emundi Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping bring a new kind of medical education and health innovation infrastructure to Northern California’s North State. Our role is straightforward and urgent: to mobilize the philanthropy, partnerships, and public support required to help create Emundi School of Medicine and its innovation platform within Emundi College of Medicine.

We believe the North State deserves a medical school built around its own communities, its own strengths, and its own future. We believe patients should have better access to care close to home. We believe students from this region should have stronger pathways to become physicians here. And we believe the future of medicine—research, digital health, advanced therapies, and innovation—should not bypass rural and small-city communities.

That belief is what drives our work.

Emundi School of Medicine — A planned independent MD-granting medical school rooted in the North State and designed to educate future physician leaders in medicine and science.

Innovation Platform — A hub designed to connect the region to clinical trials, advanced therapies, digital health, collaborative research, and the broader future of medicine.

Together, these efforts are intended to improve health outcomes, expand workforce capacity, strengthen regional institutions, and create long-term educational and economic opportunity.

The institution Emundi Foundation supports is being designed around a clear educational purpose: to educate future physician leaders in medicine and science at the intersection of rural and urban health.

Its graduates are intended to be compassionate healers, lifelong learners, and innovation leaders—physicians equipped to improve the health and well-being of patients and communities through scholarship, public purpose, and patient-centered, evidence-based care.
